Melody Bowl in Sycamore

Description

The first coloured bowl we have done for years this 12 string Melody Bowl reflects the red and blue of the hearts language, the systole and diastole of love and fear that are our constant waking companions. Sycamore takes the colour well and provides a warm spreading, almost caring tone. The tree this Sounding Bowl came from still lives. Having dropped a large branch in 2014 she received masses of loving care and attention and remains the Mother of the garden in Hawkwood College as she always was. Now you can play a piece of this sacred tree and celebrate the ebb and flow of our being human.
