13 strings, #636

Out of stock

636 minor

Linden Tree takes the name Lime from the goddess Laima, the Baltic bestower of peace and fecundity. True to her name this piece has a healing and settling tone. With 13 strings the range from G3 to E4 is easy to sing to and full of harmonic nuance. We rarely make Sounding Bowls from Lime so this is a rare chance to get this sound.

Of the many tunings shown on the tuning chart I have posted a little improvisation in the minor above and another in a major key below.

636 major

Tuning this bowl to a gong-style chord would make it easy to use as a sound-bath instrument, giving you this healing sound without any need to learn music.
Below is a sample of that tuning.

636 gong style

Another piece from our master maker Ramon Floride in Austria with the hallmarks of his dedication to excellence.
